“A friendship that became a professional meeting of the minds.”

That's how Fred Grava, Executive Chef at Taulissa, describes his relationship with Glenn Viel. While doing sports together in Courchevel, they discovered a shared passion for cooking. Their natural chemistry has enabled them to rise to every challenge, from a 2^nd star at the Kilimandjaro restaurant to a 3^rd star at the Oustau de Baumanière.
Up there, at Taulissa, the two Chefs give full rein to their imagination when concocting their recipes, promising a convivial, local cuisine that is as creative as it is tasty.

“On the rooftops”, Taulissa offers a 360° view of all that Nice has to offer. The colourful Provencal menu has been devised in the spirit of sharing and conviviality. The Chef offers dishes that are simple and generous, gourmet and surprising, with tasty sauces and a touch of madness. The service is full of surprises, right down to the recipes’ final touches, which are sometimes performed right in front of your amazed eyes.

Every Sunday, Taulissa restaurant and its terrace become the setting for a generous and convivial brunch. Around a generous buffet, Les Cocottes follow one another and unveil traditional recipes reinterpreted by Glenn Viel and Fred Grava: pâté en croûte, perfect egg, beef parmentier and tarte tatin. In a warm atmosphere, with live musical entertainment, facing the Mediterranean Sea and the hills of Nice, this moment to share with family or friends becomes an unmissable Sunday rendezvous in Nice.
